Hambleton Steel delivered the complete structural steelwork packages for Units 4B and 4C at SEGRO Park Coventry, forming part of SEGRO's major 215-acre industrial and logistics development. The wider park had planning permission for up to 3.7 million sq ft of industrial and warehouse space and benefits from excellent connectivity to the A45, A46 and wider UK motorway network.
Working under a Design & Build contract, Hambleton delivered a combined 1,405 tonnes of structural steelwork across the two units. Our scope included the main structural steel frames, cold rolled steelwork, metal decking and installation of the precast stair cores, providing the structural framework for two substantial modern logistics facilities.
Unit 4B provides approximately 220,500 sq ft of warehouse and associated office space, while Unit 4C provides approximately 140,500 sq ft, highlighting the significant scale of the steel packages delivered. The buildings form part of SEGRO's wider programme of high-quality industrial and logistics space designed to meet the needs of modern occupiers.
The project demonstrates Hambleton Steel's capability to deliver large-scale industrial and logistics steelwork packages, combining significant tonnage, multiple structural systems and specialist components within a wider phased development.
