Scope of work:

  4. Edge Protection

Because of our work on the TFST (Typhoon Future Synthetic Training) Building, we were awarded the SLA building next door by the main contractor. And then the link bridge connecting the two buildings.

Hambleton Steel started with Phase 2, the TFST Facility. With the nature of the building and load requirements for the tornado jets, the base needed to be a concrete structure. Hambleton Steel were instructed to build a first and second storey steel structure on top of this. The structure requirements needed to be engineered to the already in  in-situ concrete base.

One of the reasons I chose an apprenticeship was because I could earn and learn at the same time. Working at Hambleton Steel has provided me with day-to-day training and experience which has helped me understand the industry and business.
