In more recent months, Doug continued to lend his expertise by supporting colleagues with estimating and coordination, demonstrating both his versatility and commitment to the business.
Throughout his time at Hambleton Steel, Doug earned a reputation as a trusted and dependable colleague - someone always willing to step in, support others, and see tasks through to completion. His contribution has left a lasting impact across the team.
Beyond his professional role, Doug will also be remembered for bringing energy and friendly competition to the workplace. Whether it was go-karting challenges, or darts and card matches in the office, his competitive spirit helped foster camaraderie and plenty of memorable moments.
