Location : Brompton-on-Swale
The role
- The maintenance person will be responsible for looking after all aspects of the fabrication facility.
- The duties will be split into the following areas of work:
Buildings, plant, electrics, gases / comp air, hand tools, cranes and domestic welfare.
- The maintenance person will be required to carry out:
Daily inspections, routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, stock control.
- The maintenance person will be required to work under their own initiative and perform the following:
Wear inspection reports, parts requisitions, corrective action reports for operators.
- The maintenance person will report to the Maintenance Fitter at all times and keep him updated with potential problems that could affect production.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Programme daily inspections of all plant and machines
- Programme preventative maintenance all plant and machines.
- Carry out preventative maintenance on all plant and machines.
- Undertake daily maintenance on the building and fabric of the premises
About you
Personal characteristics
- Be willing and able to attend training courses, when deemed appropriate, to gain the necessary statutory levels of certification to meet the requirement of the position.
- Be well organised and be able to prioritise workload
- Must be able to take instructions and carry out the tasks given.
- Must be able to communicate well and apply rational levels of thinking and problem solving.
