Day to day operation of CNC machinery
The role
Main Function and Duties of Job:
- Efficient operation of all CNC machinery
- Follow Daily processing checklists on CNC machinery
- Monitoring the performance, maintenance and requirements of the preparation lines.
- Plan improvements and make recommendations to increase efficiency of the preparation lines.
As well as working with and reporting to Production Foreman, you will have the assistance of the following personnel who will work directly / indirectly with you:
- Works Supervisors
- Works Administrator
- SHEQ Manager

Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Voortman blast, saw, drill experience
- V550 Fittings machine experience
- Kesmak experience
- Plasma experience
- Blast experience
Experience:
- Time served fabrication
- Training of staff
- Operational improvements and increase efficiencies
Skills:
- Must be punctual
- Must be able to work on own initiative
- Must have good communication skills
Personal Characteristics Required:
- Be willing and able to attend training courses when deemed appropriate to gain the necessary skills to complete the role
- Be well organised and be able to prioritise workloads
- Overtime and weekend working may be required to fulfil the company’s production requirements.
